Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nawal Chekhemani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Krush!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krush clinches up against the cage.
Chekhemani wants to stall.
Chekhemani jumps guard but Krush stands there with Chekhemani around his waist. Chekhemani gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Krush breaks the clinch.
Krush lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Krush.


It looks like Nawal Chekhemani has been cut.

Chekhemani closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Krush to the mat! Krush manages to get full guard.

Chekhemani avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chekhemani lands a couple of elbows.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chekhemani trying to control but Krush is working from the bottom.

Krush is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chekhemani works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Chekhemani slows the pace down in half guard.
Krush tries to kick Chekhemani off but Chekhemani keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chekhemani looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Chekhemani wants to control but Krush is keeping him busy.
Krush really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chekhemani. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chekhemani prevents Krush from improving his position.

Chekhemani maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Krush could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Chekhemani has cracked it and Krush is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Chekhemani!
