Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cole Orion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vera has chosen You are just a JOKE! as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kid Vera!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera shoots in looking for a takedown but Orion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vera's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Orion misses the shot to the body.
Orion scores with a leg kick.
Orion throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vera throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vera jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Vera misses with a jab, cross combination.
Orion is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Vera scores with a hook.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Vera blocks a head kick by Orion.
Orion throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vera pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Vera misses with a jab, cross combination.
Orion lunges at Vera with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vera's hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vera circles away from the clinch attempt.

Vera drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Vera throws a big right hand that misses.
Vera controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Vera's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Orion swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vera throwing strikes but missing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orion has Vera pulled in close to control his posture.

Kid Vera has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Vera uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Orion.
Horrible takedown by Vera or perhaps it was just good defense by Orion which made him look bad.
Orion wants to clinch up but Vera keeps it at a distance.
Vera ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Orion moves away.
A jab from Orion misses.

Vera dives in and grabs Orion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Orion pushes down on Vera's head and hops out.
Cole Orion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kid Vera.

Orion closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Vera breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Orion. Vera shrugs it off though.
Vera fails with the takedown.
Orion is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vera throws a nice looking combination but Orion bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vera throws the kick towards the body but Orion avoids it.
Orion is looking to clinch.
Orion throws a series of punches but Vera moves out of range.
Orion tries to clinch up.
Vera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Orion sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vera somewhat.
Vera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Orion scores with a jab to the jaw.

Vera throws a right hand that Orion ducks under and follows up with a left that Orion also avoids with ease.
Vera gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Orion counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Vera has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
