Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexandre Carlitos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carlitos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carlitos .
Carlitos misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carlitos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexandre Carlitos . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Johnson drives through with a takedown into guard.

Carlitos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carlitos . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Carlitos is looking to sinch up a triangle. Johnson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Carlitos 's body to avoid the submission. Carlitos has instead reached around Johnson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Carlitos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
