Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Okazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aziz Ansari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ansari has chosen Macarena as his entrance music. Aziz Ansari told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keisuke Okazaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aziz Ansari!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ansari shoots for a double leg takedown but Okazaki sprawls well. He's pushed Ansari's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Okazaki stuffs the takedown attempt from Ansari. Ansari gets slowly back to his feet.
Ansari shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Okazaki sprawls well. Okazaki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ansari gets slowly back to his feet.
Keisuke Okazaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aziz Ansari.
No luck for Ansari with that takedown attempt.
Ansari tries to score a power double leg takedown but Okazaki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ansari somewhat.
Ansari displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Okazaki.

Okazaki slaps away a takedown attempt from Ansari, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Okazaki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ansari dives in and grabs Okazaki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Okazaki pushes down on Ansari's head and hops out.
Okazaki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Aziz Ansari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ansari is trying hard to land a takedown here. Okazaki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ansari fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Okazaki tries a head kick but it misses.

Ansari shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Okazaki but Okazaki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nice takedown defense from Okazaki. No joy for Ansari on that attempt.
Ansari closes the distance and clinches up with Okazaki, looking for a takedown. Ansari pushes Okazaki against the cage but Okazaki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ansari looks gassed!
A punch combination from Okazaki misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ansari.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ansari is defended easily by Okazaki.
Okazaki leaves Ansari with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Okazaki works the jab nicely.
Ansari shoots in for a takedown but Okazaki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Whack! Okazaki lands a heavy head kick that drops Ansari. The ref tackles Okazaki to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ansari was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Keisuke Okazaki!
