Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Purell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wagner Fabiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fabiano forces Purell back against the cage and clinches.
Fabiano throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Purell blocks it with crossed arms.
Fabiano throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fabiano tries a knee to the head but Purell blocks it.
Purell is trying to force a seperation but Fabiano has the dominant position.
Purell is looking to break free of the clinch but Fabiano has double underhooks.
Purell can't break the clinch.

Fabiano breaks from the clinch.
Purell throws a combination. Fabiano tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Purell throws a nice looking combination but Fabiano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Purell lands a nice shot to the body.
Fabiano throws a head kick but Purell moves out of range.
Purell cracks a nice hook into Fabiano's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Purell avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Purell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Oooooh!!! Purell has knocked Fabiano down with a huge combo! Purell steps away and waves a wobbly Fabiano back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Wagner Fabiano has been cut.

Purell drops Fabiano with a beautiful combination! Fabiano stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Purell is looking for the KO!

Purell lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Fabiano is looking to close the distance but Purell sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Fabiano crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Fabiano is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
