Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregor Clegane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernado Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tavares is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by All Of The Lights. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clegane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tavares was well out of range. Poor timing from Clegane.
Clegane throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Tavares has Clegane pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Clegane manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Clegane tries to throw a body punch but Tavares avoids it by throwing Clegane back against the cage.

Clegane tries to stall but Tavares uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Tavares jumps guard but Clegane stands there with Tavares around his waist. Tavares gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gregor Clegane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernado Tavares.
Clegane misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Tavares tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Clegane smiles and moves away.

Tavares changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clegane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tavares slows the pace down.
Clegane is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tavares is controlling him well.

Clegane is pushing Tavares's head away, looking to escape. Tavares manages to hold on to the position though.
Clegane bucks up and tries to throw Tavares off but instead Tavares has got his back!

Clegane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tavares on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Clegane is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Tavares is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Clegane defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Clegane enables Tavares to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Clegane manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Tavares thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tavares accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tavares stands and throws Clegane's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Clegane is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Clegane wants to get back to his feet but Tavares is dominant here and he's now got Clegane's back!

Clegane is trying to defend against the choke here but Tavares has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Tavares Tightens the hold and Clegane taps out furiously! Tavares displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
