The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Everlast stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Everlast wants it to stay on the feet.
Batista uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Everlast.
Batista shoots in but Everlast avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Everlast drops Batista with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Batista looks back up at him and smiles so Everlast waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Everlast engages and cracks Batista with a massive lead left hook - Batista tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Everlast is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

A relieved looking Erik Everlast thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
