The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from David as Lord shoots in.
Lord is looking to clinch.
David misses with a double jab.
David throws a nice looking combination but Lord bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lord shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. David defends it nicely.
Lord dives in and scores a takedown into David's guard.
David is trying to control the position but Lord postures up.
Lord with a nice head shot there.
Lord postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lord working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lord lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

David will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

David wants to stand and escape but Lord is having none of it.
