The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan misses with a hook. Coldcutts ducked under it nicely.
Coldcutts chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Coldcutts tries to keep at a distance but Duncan has taken the fight into the clinch.
Duncan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Coldcutts staying out of range there.
Coldcutts throws a shot from downtown. Duncan moves away and avoids it.
Coldcutts steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Duncan.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Coldcutts tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duncan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Duncan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Duncan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Coldcutts throws a nice looking combination but Duncan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Duncan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
No joy there for Duncan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Duncan throws a sloppy head kick and Coldcutts moves out of range easily.
Coldcutts explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Duncan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coldcutts swivels and escapes.

and Coldcutts makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Coldcutts looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Coldcutts has managed to clinch.
Duncan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Coldcutts jumps guard but Duncan stands there with Coldcutts around his waist. Coldcutts gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Duncan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Duncan is looking to work some ground and pound but Coldcutts has wrist control.
Coldcutts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Coldcutts is looking for a kimura but Duncan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Coldcutts to get the leverage.
