Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mal Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rustly Shackleford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reynolds kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't take the sky from me. Rustly Shackleford has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shackleford misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reynolds lands with an overhand left.
Reynolds moves out of range as Shackleford throws a body kick.
Reynolds misses with an uppercut.
Reynolds avoids the head kick by Shackleford.
The fighters circling - Shackleford throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Reynolds shoots in looking for a takedown. Shackleford tries to sprawl out of it but Reynolds keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shackleford manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Reynolds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shackleford moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Reynolds connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The crowd cheers as Reynolds lands an impressive looking overhand right. Shackleford doesn't seem phased though.
Shackleford has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Shackleford there as he acknowledges the shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reynolds does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
No luck for Reynolds with that takedown attempt.
Shackleford stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shackleford wants it to stay on the feet.
Shackleford connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Reynolds throws a solid leg kick but Shackleford takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Reynolds.

Rustly Shackleford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shackleford throws a jab but it's blocked by Reynolds.

Shackleford fails to land with a series of punches.
Reynolds takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Reynolds takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Shackleford throws a monster overhand right that drops Reynolds! Shackleford follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
