Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fleegle bananasplits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johannes Kostaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bananasplits comes to the cage accompanied by tra la la by the banana splits. Kostaja has chosen O´Jays - For the love of money as his entrance music. Johannes Kostaja has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fleegle bananasplits!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

bananasplits fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kostaja, pushing him back against the cage.
bananasplits wants to break free but Kostaja has control.

bananasplits ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. bananasplits no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kostaja decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kostaja walks into a straight right hand from bananasplits.
bananasplits stuffs the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from bananasplits as Kostaja shoots in.
Kostaja tries for a takedown but bananasplits sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fleegle bananasplits has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johannes Kostaja.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

bananasplits has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Kostaja works to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

bananasplits manages to break the clinch.

Kostaja shoots in and bounces bananasplits off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kostaja is pushing down on bananasplits's leg trying to pass to half guard. bananasplits is fighting to maintain full guard but Kostaja has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kostaja is keen to just control but bananasplits is a slippery customer.

Kostaja avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

bananasplits pushes Kostaja off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A bone on bone clash there as Kostaja blocks the leg kick.

Kostaja closes this distance looking for a takedown but bananasplits circles away.

Kostaja drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kostaja drops back looking for a leg! bananasplits is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and bananasplits manages to kick Kostaja off! Kostaja jumps back into bananasplits's guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
bananasplits is trying to escape back to his feet but Kostaja uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Kostaja is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but bananasplits is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

bananasplits bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Kostaja jumps guard and drags bananasplits to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

bananasplits tries a knee to the head but Kostaja blocks it.
Kostaja tries to pull guard but bananasplits holds him up against the cage and eventually Kostaja drops back down to his feet.

bananasplits has gone for a leg lock! Kostaja slips out almost immediately though and dives into bananasplits's guard.
