Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rumble Lord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shang Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shang Li acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rumble Lord!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shang Li!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a right hand that Lord ducks under and follows up with a left that Lord also avoids with ease.
Li fails to land with a series of punches.
Li throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lord.
Lord shoots for a double leg takedown but Li sprawls well. He's pushed Lord's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Li misses with a straight left.

Lord looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Li wants to improve his position but Lord is controlling well.
Li is not content to let Lord control the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lord connects with a nice short shot to Li's temple.
Lord seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Li on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Lord working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Lord is keen to just control but Li is a slippery customer.

Lord looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Li has hold of Lord's hands but Lord slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Li is trying to stand back up but Lord is controlling him
Lord looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Li with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Li is refusing to be controlled, as Lord sits in half guard.
Lord frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lord postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Li bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Lord and the fight is over!
