Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yang Tao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cid Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tao comes to the cage accompanied by Carl Douglas - Kung Fu Fighting. Strife has chosen Tool - Ticks and Leeches as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Strife moves away.
Strife is looking to clinch but Tao is avoiding it.
Tao loads up on a big right hand but Strife slips the punch.
Tao is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Tao plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Strife tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tao counters with an outside leg kick.
Strife has managed to clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Strife just misses with a elbow thrown towards Tao's brow.

Tao fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Strife is out of range.

Tao circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Strife drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Tao follows Strife to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
