Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between War Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Budo Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes to the cage accompanied by War Machine. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rei attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Machine shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rei throws a body kick that misses.
Rei tests Machine's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Machine throws a leg kick which misses Rei's front leg but catches the back leg as Rei tries to avoid it.

and Machine counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Budo Rei has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Machine steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rei.
Rei blocks a low kick nicely.
Rei takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Machine feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rei sprawling to the canvas! Rei rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Machine finish him?!

Rei is rocked!
Machine avoids a kick to the body.
Rei lands with a kick to the ribs.
Rei lets loose with a powerful body kick. Machine will feel that in the morning.
Machine is breathing heavily.
Machine throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Rei moves away from the strike by Machine.

Rei dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Machine. That did some damage!

Rei lands with a kick to the temple. Machine shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Rei throws a hook but Machine blocks it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rei, right into the meat.
Rei throws a hook to the side of Machine's head but Machine sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rei jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rei misses with the combination.
Machine swings for the body but Rei moves out of range.
Rei lands a nice shot that snaps Machine's head back.
Rei is looking to slow Machine down with leg kicks.
Rei lands with a hook. Machine tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Machine on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Budo Rei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rei.
Rei with a nice cross.
Rei takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Rei will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Rei throws a push kick but Machine slaps the foot to one side.
Rei throws a head kick that misses.
Machine misses with a looping right.
Machine is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Machine is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Rei scores with a body shot.
Rei misses the shot to the body.
Rei is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Machine had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Rei misses with a body kick.
Machine ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A good leg kick by Rei.
Machine has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Rei.
Machine takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A jab from Rei does it's job there.
Rei thows a body shot but no joy.

Rei lands a big head kick that sends Machine tumbling to the mat! Rei takes a step backwards and waves Machine back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rei lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Machine - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Rei!
