Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin De Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ikenai Tayou. Yamapi Chan had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yamapi Chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marvin De Leon!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Leon cracks a nice hook into Chan's ribs.
De Leon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chan.
De Leon tries to score with a low kick but Chan moves his leg out of the way.
De Leon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Chan counters with a right hand to the body.
Chan connects with a body shot that sends De Leon's belly button to the back.

Chan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
De Leon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chan moves away.

Marvin De Leon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
