The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Donovan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gracie is in Donovan's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Gracie lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Donovan wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position.

Donovan is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea.

Donovan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Donovan wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gracie cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Donovan is bucking up trying to escape but Gracie cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Donovan is still in real trouble! Can Gracie finish him?
Gracie postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Donovan in real trouble here! The ref calls for Donovan to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
