Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Lotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Pressley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lotus comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. The key to victory for Tommy Lotus has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lotus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pressley defends it nicely.
Pressley closes the distance and clinches up with Lotus, looking for a takedown. Pressley pushes Lotus against the cage but Lotus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pressley shoots in looking for a takedown. Lotus tries to sprawl out of it but Pressley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lotus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lotus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pressley moves away.

Lotus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pressley.
Lotus tries to bum rush Pressley with a series of wild strikes but Pressley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lotus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pressley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Pressley tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pressley has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Pressley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lotus defends it well.
