The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Springsteen swats away the attempt to clinch by Burundi.
Burundi slips a jab and a cross from Springsteen.
Burundi shoots in but Springsteen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Springsteen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Burundi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Springsteen shoots in and gets a takedown into Burundi's guard.
Springsteen tries to free his leg and advance position but Burundi is retaining full guard.
Burundi wants to stand but Springsteen is controlling the position.

It looks like Mbuto Burundi has been cut.

Burundi shoots in looking for a takedown but Springsteen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Burundi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Burundi tries to clinch there but Springsteen circles away.
Springsteen lands with a nice body punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Springsteen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Springsteen shoots for a double leg takedown but Burundi sprawls well. He's pushed Springsteen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Springsteen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Springsteen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
