The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Core tries to clinch up.
Core is looking to clinch.
Mayweather lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Mayweather throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Core.
Mayweather circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mayweather lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Core circles away quickly and effectively.
A combination from Mayweather does no damage.
Mayweather should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mayweather throws a body punch but Core moves out of range.
Mayweather lands a jab.
Core uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mayweather.

Core clinches with his opponent.

Core pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mayweather looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Core tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mayweather manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Core takes one on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Core throws a right hand that Mayweather ducks under and follows up with a left that Mayweather also avoids with ease.

Mayweather feints a jab promting Core to slip. Mayweather then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Core slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Manny Mayweather is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Core dives in and grabs Mayweather's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mayweather pushes down on Core's head and hops out.
Core tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mayweather circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice straight punches there by Mayweather. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mayweather.
Core wants to clinch up but Mayweather keeps it at a distance.
A left and a right from Mayweather both land. Nice combination.
Core tries to clinch but Mayweather moves out of range.
Nice uppercut there from Mayweather.
Core moves in looking to clinch but Mayweather pushes him off.
Mayweather dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Core doesn't manage to clinch there - Mayweather circles away.
Core fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mayweather bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Core's head backwards.

Oh Core is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Core tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mayweather manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mayweather misses with a double jab.
Core seems to have got his legs back now.
Core lands a right hook to the body.
Core misses with a wild combination.
Mayweather lands with a big left! Core is wobbled badly! Mayweather comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Core to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
