The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacquiao loads up on a big right hand but Reinhardt slips the punch.

Reinhardt tries a low kick but Pacquiao avoids it.

so Reinhardt counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Reinhardt trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Reinhardt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pacquiao swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pacquiao is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Reinhardt's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Reinhardt tried to score with a low kick but Pacquiao checks it.

Reinhardt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pacquiao looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pacquiao parries the strikes from Reinhardt easily there. Reinhardt is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pacquiao to escape.
Reinhardt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Pacquiao wants to control but Reinhardt postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
