Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kent Hytten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zapp Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hytten comes to the cage accompanied by Wait and Bleed. Brannigan has chosen Jackyl -- The Lumberjack as his entrance music. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Zapp Brannigan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kent Hytten's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Hytten lands but Brannigan takes it in his stride.
Kent Hytten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hytten tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Brannigan is able to avoid easily.

Brannigan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hytten tries to avoid it but Brannigan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hytten to the ground. Hytten escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hytten tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brannigan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hytten darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Brannigan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Brannigan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Brannigan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Brannigan might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hytten has got the better of the exchanges.
