Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timo Harjakainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Morleaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morleaux has chosen Massive Attack feat. Mos Def - I Against I as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morleaux works the jab nicely.
Morleaux misses with a combination
enabling Harjakainen to counter with a crisp jab.
Morleaux fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Morleaux will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Morleaux has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Harjakainen finds it's way round the side to connect with Morleaux's head.

and Morleaux counters with a shoot takedown. Harjakainen fights it but they end up in guard.

Harjakainen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Morleaux got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harjakainen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morleaux has managed to get both his arms back between Harjakainen's legs - danger averted.
Harjakainen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Morleaux might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harjakainen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Morleaux sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Harjakainen's guard.
Morleaux is taking a breather. Harjakainen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Harjakainen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Morleaux looking to control but Harjakainen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Harjakainen is looking to improve his position but Morleaux isn't that keen on the idea.
Morleaux cracks Harjakainen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Harjakainen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Harjakainen wants to improve his position but Morleaux is controlling well.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Morleaux moves forwards but Harjakainen connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Harjakainen counters with a series of strikes. Morleaux will be more careful next time no doubt.

Morleaux shoots for a double leg takedown but Harjakainen sprawls well. He's pushed Morleaux's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Morleaux is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
