Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Flay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mcgrath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flay comes to the cage accompanied by .. Mcgrath has chosen 50 cent feat. Akon - I'll still kill as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Flay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Mcgrath!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgrath fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A low kick from Mcgrath is predictable there
and Flay cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Flay misses with a jab to the body
and Mcgrath counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mcgrath takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcgrath throws a leg kick
and Flay counters with a stiff right hand.
Mcgrath slips under a jab.
Mcgrath throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mcgrath checks a leg kick nicely.
Flay circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mcgrath lands with a slapping head kick.

Flay throws a hook but Mcgrath avoids it easily.
Flay lands with a good body shot.
Mcgrath throws a lazy head kick

and Flay counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mcgrath!
Flay misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

It looks like Frank Mcgrath has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mcgrath suckers Flay into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Mcgrath is now in Flay's guard!
Flay is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Flay seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mcgrath does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mcgrath is refusing to be controlled, as Flay sits in half guard.

Flay thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Flay wants to pass to mount but Mcgrath is defending the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Flay misses with a head shot. Mcgrath uses the momentum to regain guard.
Flay throwing strikes from guard but Mcgrath blocks nicely.
Flay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mcgrath is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Flay is controlling him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mcgrath is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Flay counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mcgrath's knee momentarily.
Flay has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mcgrath.

The ground and pound from Flay seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Flay with the ground and pound but Mcgrath regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Flay scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Mcgrath looks like he's trying to stand up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Flay postures up in Mcgrath's guard and throws a big left but Mcgrath blocks it.
Flay with a flurry of punches that miss.
Flay working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flay missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Flay loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Flay landing some decent shots from guard.
Flay throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Flay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Flay throws a leg kick that is checked
and Mcgrath counters with a leg kick.
Mcgrath does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Flay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mcgrath.
Mcgrath throws a sloppy head kick and Flay moves out of range easily.
Flay misses with a left hand
and Mcgrath counters with a low kick, right behind Flay 's knee.
Frank Mcgrath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgrath misses with a two punch combination.
Mcgrath lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mcgrath tries a head kick but it misses.

Mcgrath slips under a jab.
Mcgrath looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mcgrath throws a quick inside leg kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mcgrath.
Mcgrath lands a nice leg kick that just misses Flay's sensitive parts.
Mcgrath tries to clinch up but Flay circles away and keeps his distance.
Mcgrath thows a body kick. Flay tries to catch it but that hurt him.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Flay takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Mcgrath connects with a high kick.
Frank Mcgrath seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mcgrath fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Flay has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mcgrath misses with a low kick.
Mcgrath looks to land a right hand but Flay moved out of range.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Mcgrath. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Flay blocks the body kick.
Flay on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mcgrath throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Flay.


It looks like Bobby Flay has been cut.

A nice inside leg kick there by Mcgrath. That's going to slow Flay down.
Mcgrath throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mcgrath misses the shot to the body.
Mcgrath blocks a jab.
Mcgrath throws a leg kick but Flay sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Mcgrath uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Flay.

and Mcgrath counters with a body kick.
Nice body kick from Mcgrath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mcgrath will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Frank Mcgrath has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
