The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tulfo shoots in for a takedown but Moon shows good takedown defense.
Moon just misses with a punch to the body.
Moon misses with a double jab.
Moon misses with a wild combination.
Sloppy strikes from Moon. Those never looked like landing.
Moon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tulfo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Moon.
Moon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Moon cracks Tulfo with a right hand to the side of the head.
Moon throws a body punch but Tulfo moves out of range.

Moon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Tulfo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Tulfo drops back looking for a leg! Moon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moon manages to kick Tulfo off! Tulfo jumps back into Moon's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tulfo throwing strikes from guard but Moon blocks nicely.

Tulfo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tulfo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tulfo passes Moon's left leg - he's now in half guard.
