PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erik Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Charcoal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drake.
Drake shoots and misses
and Charcoal counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Charcoal moves out of range of the body kick from Drake.
Charcoal lands a jab to the head.
Drake throws a body punch but Charcoal moves out of range.

Drake throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Charcoal was covering up waiting for the punch and Drake finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Drake thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Charcoal is controlling Drake's posture.

Charcoal loads up on a big right hand but Drake slips the punch.
Charcoal connects with a body shot that sends Drake's belly button to the back.
Charcoal is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Drake had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Charcoal! Drake is hurt baaadly! Charcoal is firing away with more strikes - Drake is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
