The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hytten throws a leg kick
and Boxer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hytten throws a head kick that misses.
Hytten wants to clinch up but Boxer keeps it at a distance.
Boxer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hytten.
Hytten throws a body punch but Boxer moves out of range.
Hytten throws a hook to the side of Boxer's head but Boxer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hytten connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boxer momentarily.

Hytten misses with an uppercut
and Boxer counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hytten with a nice cross.
Hytten misses with a right hand
and Boxer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hytten looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boxer loads up on a big right hand but Hytten slips the punch.
Hytten throws a right hand that misses
and Boxer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boxer moves out of range of the body kick.
A low kick from Boxer misses
and Hytten counters with a body kick that stops Boxer in his tracks momentarily.
Hytten scoring well with a low kick there.
Hytten swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kent Hytten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Boxer counters with a body kick that stops Hytten in his tracks momentarily.
Hytten moves away from the strike by Boxer.

and Boxer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Boxer drops Hytten with a big left hand and mounts him. Hytten is in big trouble!
Boxer prevents Hytten from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boxer throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hytten because Boxer loaded up on that one.
Hytten sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Boxer working over Hytten with some ground and pound. Hytten looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Boxer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hytten is trying to stand up here but Boxer is controlling him well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
