The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crump on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sole. Sole obviously looking to wear him down.
Sole wants to clinch but Crump slips to the side
and Crump counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A lazy body kick from Crump

and Sole moves into the clinch.
Sole creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Sole pushes Crump back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sole blocks an uppercut.
Crump is looking to break free of the clinch but Sole has double underhooks.
Sole lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Crump backwards.
Sole keeps control of Crump as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Sole misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Crump.
Sole lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Alan Crump has been cut.
Sole lands an elbow that stopped Crump in his tracks for a moment.
Sole misses with a knee strike.
Sole misses with a punch on the inside.
Sole gets through Crump's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crump tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Sole lands a left hand that snaps the head of Crump backwards.
Crump blocks an elbow strike.
Crump is trying to push Sole away but Sole has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Sole is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Sole takes a shot to the head.

Crump breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Crump thows a leg kick but Sole checks it
and Sole makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Crump is breathing heavily.
Sole tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Crump counters with a head kick. That will keep Sole thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Sole tries to clinch but Crump is having none of it.
Alan Crump is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sole is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sole tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crump swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Crump swats away the attempt to clinch by Sole.

Sole feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Sole has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sole trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sole lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Crump hang on?
Sole working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crump can't escape the position.
Crump is bucking up trying to escape but Sole cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Crump is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sole drops a big elbow. That's hurt Crump! More shots from Sole and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
