Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Flay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timmy Graham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Flay!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graham shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Flay but Flay pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Graham misses with a takedown attempt - Flay sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Graham fails with an attempt to clinch.
No joy there for Graham, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Graham tries to clinch there but Flay circles away.
Graham shoots in looking for a takedown. Flay tries to sprawl out of it but Graham keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flay manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timmy Graham. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Graham shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Flay pinned against the cage. Flay gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Graham fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Flay stuffs the takedown.
Timmy Graham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flay blocks a head kick by Graham.
Graham closes the distance and clinches up with Flay, looking for a takedown. Graham pushes Flay against the cage but Flay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Flay shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Flay takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Graham won't allow Flay to pass to mount.
Flay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Graham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Graham has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Flay is working away from the top position though.
Flay is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Flay's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Flay drops an elbow to the side of Graham's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Graham is breathing heavily.
Flay slows the pace down in half guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Flay has eaten all the pies!

Despite being in the dominant position, Bobby Flay just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Flay feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Flay is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Graham has momentary wrist control but Flay slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flay slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Let's hope that Flay has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Flay slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Flay works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Graham really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Flay cracks Graham with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Flay is putting a hurting on Graham here, landing some big shots from side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Flay is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Graham manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Flay manages to get himself to full guard.
Flay throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Flay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Flay can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Flay controlling the position.
Graham wants to control from the top but Flay keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Flay looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Graham!
Graham is wriggling around trying to escape.

Flay is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Graham can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

BOOM! Flay connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Oh Graham is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Flay lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Graham wants to get back to full guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Flay lands a nice short elbow.

Graham seems to have got his legs back now.
Graham is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Flay tries to free his leg and advance position but Graham is retaining full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Flay shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Flay showed some decent athleticism there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobby Flay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Graham will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

and Flay counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Graham is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Flay throws a big right hand that misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Flay wants to hit a switch here but Graham passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Flay there!

Bobby Flay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Flay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
