Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Cicero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Reinhardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cicero comes to the cage accompanied by Woke Up This Morning . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cicero moves away from the strike by Reinhardt.
Reinhardt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Reinhardt there as he acknowledges the shot.
Reinhardt throws a leg kick that misses.

Reinhardt shoots in and bounces Cicero off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Reinhardt throws a big right hand that misses.

Cicero looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reinhardt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Cicero tries to lock up and control but Reinhardt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Reinhardt postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cicero looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Cicero is squirming around, avoiding Reinhardt's attempts to control the action.
Cicero tries to hold on but Reinhardt pushes him away.

Cicero is desperately trying to improve his position but Reinhardt has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Reinhardt lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cicero hang on?
Reinhardt avoids the attempt from Cicero to control.

Victor Reinhardt dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Reinhardt thows a leg kick but Cicero checks it
and Reinhardt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Cicero fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reinhardt sprawls well initially but Cicero persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Reinhardt is controlling Cicero's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Reinhardt is pressing down on Cicero's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Cicero throwing strikes from guard but Reinhardt blocks nicely.

Cicero is looking to work some ground and pound but Reinhardt has wrist control.

Cicero wants to control from the top but Reinhardt keeps moving.
Cicero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reinhardt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Reinhardt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cicero gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Reinhardt has control of Cicero's left arm, preventing Cicero from doing any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cicero prevents Reinhardt from getting back to his feet.
Cicero passes into half guard.

Reinhardt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cicero is nestled in close to Reinhardt, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Cicero takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cicero is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Reinhardt is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
