The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Miley is fending him off so far but Steele persists. Nope, Miley circles away and we're back to standing.

Miley jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Steele manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Steele works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Miley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Miley is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Steele.

Steele drops Miley with a right and a left! Steele comes rushing in but Miley regains his composure and manages to keep Steele in guard.

It looks like Paul Miley has been cut.

Steele wants to take a breather but Miley is having none of it.

Steele is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Miley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Steele is landing with some decent strikes but Miley is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Steele throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
