Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Clovis Alfred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirby Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kirby Jay struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfred shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jay is trying to control but can't.
Jay won't allow Alfred to pass to mount.
Jay has one foot on Alfred's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Alfred throws a right hand that Jay ducks under and follows up with a left that Jay also avoids with ease.
Alfred shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Alfred showed some decent athleticism there.
Jay looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Alfred is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Alfred wants to pass to mount but Jay is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jay is not content to let Alfred control the position.
Alfred wants to stand up but Jay is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alfred not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Alfred prevents Jay from improving his position.
Alfred wants to free his trapped foot but Jay is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Alfred is looking to stall here but Jay recovers full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Alfred trying to control but Jay is working from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Alfred trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clovis Alfred dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Alfred throws a head kick but Jay moves out of range.
Alfred shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jay manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Alfred wants to control from the top but Jay keeps moving.
Alfred stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jay swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Alfred trying to control but Jay is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alfred is pushing down on Jay's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jay is fighting to maintain full guard but Alfred has managed to sneak the leg through.
Alfred working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Jay's thigh. Jay counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Alfred stopping the sweep attempt from Jay.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Alfred is looking to advance position but Jay has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Alfred working to try and regain half guard.
Alfred tries to hold on but Jay postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jay throwing strikes but Alfred uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Alfred is pressing down on Jay's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Alfred is adopting a defensive guard.
Alfred pushes Jay off and scrambles back to his feet.
Alfred swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alfred shoots in for a double leg but Jay sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alfred changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jay looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Alfred laying and praying for a moment but Jay takes advantage and regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Alfred wants to pass to mount but Jay is defending the position.
Alfred is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jay sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clovis Alfred dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Alfred fails to land the takedown.
Alfred throws a series of punches but Jay avoids them all with ease.
Clovis Alfred is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alfred misses with a double jab.
Sloppy strikes from Alfred. Those never looked like landing.
Clovis Alfred seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alfred throws a lazy right hand but Jay sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
No joy there for Alfred, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Alfred throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jay's waist but Jay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alfred off to one side.
Jay gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Alfred won't allow Jay to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alfred controls from within his opponent's guard.
Alfred stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Jay misses with a takedown
and Alfred counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jay looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jay takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jay scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Alfred manages to mount him!
Alfred thowing shots but they're missing.
Alfred looking to finish with strikes here!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jay has left one of his arms exposed and Alfred doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Jay screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
