Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokolski scores with a kick to the midsection.
Sokolski tries to land a front kick but Higgins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Higgins throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sokolski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Higgins gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sokolski to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Higgins pulls Sokolski in close to prevent any damage.
Higgins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Higgins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sokolski manages to get himself to full guard.

Higgins drops back looking for a leg! Sokolski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sokolski manages to kick Higgins off! Higgins jumps back into Sokolski's guard.
Higgins wants to pass the guard but Sokolski is keeping the position.

Higgins drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Higgins as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Sokolski screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Higgins! Nice submission victory there!
