The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Blasko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cage will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Blasko is trying desperately to land a takedown but Cage is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Blasko.

and Cage counters with a big head kick but Blasko shrugs it off.

Cage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blasko.
A choreographed right hand from Cage misses the target.
Blasko tries to clinch but Cage moves away
and Cage counters with a three punch combo that has Blasko backing up. Blasko nods at Cage to acknowledge the strikes.

Cage can't break the clinch.
Cage has had enough of the clinch but Blasko keeps him there for the moment.
Cage fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Blasko lands a nice knee to the body.
Cage wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blasko has him pressed against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cage stalling in the clinch but Blasko improves position.
Blasko jumps guard but Cage stands there with Blasko around his waist. Blasko gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Blasko has hold of Cage's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Cage seems comfortable defending it but Blasko has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Cage is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cage is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Blasko couldn't care less - he's delighted!
