The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assisi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zeldenthuis defends it nicely.
Francis Assisi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Assisi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zeldenthuis's half guard.
Zeldenthuis trying to hold on to Assisi's head to control him but Assisi postures up.
Assisi is working for a kimura but Zeldenthuis is defending it quite comfortably.
Assisi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zeldenthuis keeps working.
Assisi passes to side control.
Assisi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Assisi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Zeldenthuis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Assisi has knee on belly momentarily but Zeldenthuis bucks him off and regains half guard.
Assisi looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Assisi has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Zeldenthuis defend it? Assisi steps over the head and cranks it - Zeldenthuis is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Assisi!
