Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dino Cazares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgard Britto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Britto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cazares looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Britto thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Britto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cazares is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Britto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cazares knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Cazares is looking for a sweep.

Britto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cazares, who protects the arm well.
Cazares is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Britto has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Cazares is persistently looking for the submission but Britto is defending it well.
Cazares is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Cazares gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Cazares gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Cazares apologises and we restart here on the feet.

The referee warns Britto that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Cazares is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Britto can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dino Cazares has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edgard Britto.

Cazares feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cazares is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Britto can do to turn this around?

Cazares is sitting in close to Britto's body. Britto has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cazares is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cazares is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Britto.
