PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miksu Rupunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oloff Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rupunen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rupunen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Larsen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Larsen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Larsen wants it to stay on the feet.

Rupunen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Rupunen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Rupunen shoots in for a takedown but Larsen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Larsen, as that shot connected.

Larsen throws out a loose jab but Rupunen uses good head movement to avoid it.

Larsen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rupunen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Larsen is looking to take a break and control but Rupunen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rupunen is looking for a sweep.

Larsen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rupunen is trying to escape and Larsen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rupunen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Larsen! Very nice indeed!
