Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kel Varnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes into the arena with Enea Vollare Mezzo blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Varnson throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
Emelianenko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Emelianenko has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Emelianenko there as he acknowledges the shot.

Varnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Emelianenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Varnson circles away.
Varnson lands a left and a right that send Emelianenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Varnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Emelianenko is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Varnson throws a head kick that misses.
Oh Emelianenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Emelianenko tries to clinch but Varnson is having none of it.
Emelianenko shoots in but no luck this time.
Emelianenko seems to have got his legs back now.
Varnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Emelianenko.
Kel Varnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Varnson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Emelianenko defending well as Varnson loads up on a big left hand.
Emelianenko closes the distance and pushes Varnson back into the cage.
Emelianenko fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Emelianenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A right handed body shot lands from Varnson.
Emelianenko is trying to stall.
Emelianenko goes for a takedown attempt but Varnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Varnson cracks Emelianenko with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Varnson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Emelianenko to stand back up!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Varnson drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Emelianenko right on the button. Emelianenko goes down! Varnson follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Varnson gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kel Varnson!
