Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Barry Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Billy Moss!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Moss misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Moss.
Scott scores with a takedown into Moss's guard.
Scott wants to control from the top but Moss keeps moving.
Moss is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scott is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Moss rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Scott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moss swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Moss can't keep his opponent in guard - Scott advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Moss misses with a series of wild punches.
Moss gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Scott to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Scott pushes down on Moss's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Scott passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Moss!
Scott mounts Moss! Really nice guard pass there!
Scott tries to control but Moss wriggling away.

Scott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Moss can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Scott working for a guillotine from mount but Moss is in no mood to give up.

Moss is wriggling around trying to escape.
Scott is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Scott!
