The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hytten steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Perry.
Perry scores with a nice right hand.
Hytten chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Perry will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Perry misses with a hook.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hytten.
Dwayne Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perry walks into a left hand.

It looks like Dwayne Perry has been cut.
Perry closes the distance and clinches up with Hytten, looking for a takedown. Perry pushes Hytten against the cage but Hytten circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hytten connects with a right hand. Perry shakes it off.
Hytten wants to clinch.
Hytten lands with a slapping head kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Perry slips a jab and a cross from Hytten.
Hytten throws a leg kick which misses Perry's front leg but catches the back leg as Perry tries to avoid it.
Hytten throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hytten lands with a nice body punch.
Perry looks gassed!

Hytten pushes Perry up against the cage in a clinch.

Hytten digs a right hand into Perry's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Perry's gas tank.
Hytten controlling the action here for a moment.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hytten for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Nice elbow from Hytten.
Hytten landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Hytten breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Perry dodges the punch combination from Hytten.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hytten looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hytten connects with a high kick.

That has opened up Dwayne Perry's cut even more.

Hytten closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Perry out cold! Perry corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
