Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cam Stroud!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Tonal!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud tries to close the distance and clinch but Tonal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stroud throws a head kick but Tonal moves out of range.
Tonal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stroud moves away.
Stroud misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stroud throws the kick towards the body but Tonal avoids it.
Stroud avoids the body shot from Tonal.
Stroud goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Tonal lands a nice hook to Stroud's body. Stroud takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Stroud tries a low kick but Tonal avoids it.
Stroud fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tonal moves out of range of the body kick from Stroud.
Stroud shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tonal stuns Stroud with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Tonal uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stroud has time to react.
Cam Stroud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tonal throws a one two combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tonal works over Stroud's head and body with a nice combination.
Tonal works Stroud's body with a nice hook.
Tonal connects with a jab.
Stroud is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stroud takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stroud is breathing heavily.
Stroud throws a head kick but Tonal moves out of range.
Tonal cracks Stroud with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Tonal works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Stroud is rocked!
Stroud throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tonal counters with a crisp right that sends Stroud to the canvas! Tonal follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
