Gambino slips a jab from Fick.
Gambino cracks Fick with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gambino lands a glancing blow to the side of Fick's head.
Gambino swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fick.

Fick throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fick drops Gambino with a nice combination! Fick dives into Gambino's guard, looking to finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fick drops back looking for a leg! Gambino is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gambino manages to kick Fick off! Fick jumps back into Gambino's guard.
Oh Gambino is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gambino pulls Fick in close to prevent any damage.
Fick forces his way into half guard.
Gambino seems to have got his legs back now.
Fick wants to work for an arm triangle but Gambino is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Fick works his way into side control.
Gambino is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Gambino knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fick on the ground.

Gambino wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Gambino has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Gambino on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gambino tries to get out of the position.
Fick tries to free his leg and advance position but Gambino is retaining full guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fick looks to score with a jab to the body but Gambino is just out of range.

We've been informed that Fick has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Gambino takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Fick throws a jab but it's blocked by Gambino.

Hansie Fick dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fick takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Gambino misses the body punch
and Fick cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A looping hook to the body misses from Fick. Gambino does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fick misses with a straight right.
Gambino swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Fick scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gambino uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fick has time to react.

Gambino was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Gambino avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A little feinted left hand from Gambino on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Fick looks up at the clock. Bad move! Gambino lands a right hand from hell, dropping Fick. Gambino pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gabe Gambino!
A very excited looking Gabe Gambino rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Hansie Fick spoke after the fight, saying 'Up yours!'.
