Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Huknberg (ranked 2286 p4p, 2550 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Huknberg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paul Huknberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bruce Lee!

Huknberg moves into the clinch.
Huknberg tries to pull guard but Lee won't allow it.
Huknberg jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lee walks away with a smile on his face. Huknberg gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lee throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Huknberg clinches up with Lee and pushes him back against the cage.
Huknberg tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually Huknberg drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Huknberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Huknberg gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Huknberg tries to pull guard but Lee won't allow it.

Lee turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lee manages to end up in side control.

Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Lee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Huknberg, who protects the arm well.
Huknberg wants to control but Lee postures up.

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Huknberg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lee swings around for an armbar but Huknberg sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lee's guard.

Huknberg is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Huknberg passes Lee's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Huknberg is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Huknberg tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Huknberg has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Huknberg is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Huknberg thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Huknberg gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Huknberg tries to pull guard but Lee won't allow it.

Huknberg is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lee to keep the fight standing.

Lee is trying to drag Huknberg to the mat but Huknberg just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Huknberg looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee throwing strikes but Huknberg manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Huknberg is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lee wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Huknberg has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Lee's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Lee is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Huknberg!

Paul Huknberg was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
