Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Exotic (ranked 1901 p4p, 2780 weight class) and Juro Fujimoto (ranked 251 p4p, 354 weight class). Exotic's entrance music is I Saw a Tiger. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Exotic throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Exotic connects with a right hand. Fujimoto shakes it off.
Exotic keeps the fight on the outside.
Fujimoto on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Exotic closes the distance and clinches.
Exotic lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Fujimoto.

Exotic works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Exotic passes Fujimoto's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Fujimoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Exotic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Exotic gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Exotic pushes Fujimoto back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Exotic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fujimoto has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Joe Exotic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fujimoto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Exotic counters with a left to the body.
Exotic lands a really nice looking cross but Fujimoto seems unphased.
Exotic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fujimoto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've been told by Exotic's head coaches at My gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Exotic throws a body shot but no joy.

Fujimoto takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Exotic forces Fujimoto back against the cage and clinches.
Still in the clinch, Exotic scores with a nice short uppercut.

Fujimoto is rocked!
Fujimoto jumps guard but Exotic stands there with Fujimoto around his waist. Fujimoto gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fujimoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Exotic finish him?

Exotic lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Exotic lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Exotic stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Exotic tightens his grip and picks Fujimoto up, before dumping him to the ground. Fujimoto manages to land in guard.

Exotic stands and steps away. Fujimoto gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Exotic drops Fujimoto with a big left hand! Fujimoto is injured, injured bad! Exotic jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
