Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Callum Dent (ranked 4151 p4p, 2386 weight class) and The Prophet (ranked 71 p4p, 126 weight class). Dent comes to the cage accompanied by Funk #49. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Callum Dent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, The Prophet!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.

Dent with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Prophet to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Callum Dent has been cut.
Prophet fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dent on the side of the head.
Nice shot by Prophet.

Dent is rocked!
Dent takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oh Dent is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Prophet scores with a shot to the body.
Dent gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Prophet.

Prophet cracks Dent with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dent looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Prophet finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dent looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Prophet!
Dent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prophet keeps working.
Dent wants to take a breather but Prophet manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Dent.
Dent seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Prophet has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dent can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dent postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Prophet is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dent, into his guard.

Prophet stands and throws Dent's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Let's hope that Prophet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Dent can't do much from the bottom here.
Prophet is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dent will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Dent on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dent tries to get out of the position.
Dent wants to control but Prophet postures up.
A lull in the action here.

Dent is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Prophet remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Prophet.
Dent tries to buck Prophet off but Prophet is having none of it.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Prophet slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Prophet connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dent's hands.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dent is defended easily by Prophet.

Prophet feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dent sprawling to the canvas! Dent rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Prophet finish him?!
Prophet lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Dent up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Prophet from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Dent's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). The Prophet!
