Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terry McShatter (ranked 5266 p4p, 7042 weight class) and Android Twentyone (ranked 530 p4p, 584 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Android Twentyone!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

McShatter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Twentyone throws out the jab.
McShatter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Twentyone looks to land a right hand but McShatter moved out of range.
Twentyone connects with a solid leg kick.
Twentyone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McShatter throws a body punch but Twentyone moves out of range.
McShatter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Twentyone misses with a double jab.

McShatter thinks about countering with a body kick.

It looks like Terry McShatter has been cut.
McShatter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Twentyone is clearly trying to counter these attacks from McShatter with a body shot.

McShatter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McShatter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Twentyone's half guard.

Twentyone tries to sprawl but McShatter drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Twentyone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McShatter manages to avoid it.

Twentyone lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Android Twentyone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A slow jab from Twentyone misses its intended target.
McShatter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Twentyone circles away quickly and effectively.
Twentyone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McShatter was well out of range. Poor timing from Twentyone.
Twentyone thows a body kick. McShatter tries to catch it but that hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Twentyone enables McShatter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Twentyone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McShatter avoids the attempt from Twentyone to control.

That was a close round but I would say that Terry McShatter will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

McShatter misses with an uppercut. Twentyone saw that one coming.

McShatter looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Twentyone!
Twentyone takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

McShatter throws a sloppy head kick and Twentyone moves out of range easily.

Twentyone is trying to escape back to his feet but McShatter uses the scramble to pass into side control.

I really don't envy Twentyone right now.
McShatter is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McShatter somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
McShatter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Twentyone is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by McShatter.

Twentyone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McShatter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McShatter has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Twentyone's body.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McShatter has managed to slip his arm under Twentyone's chin. This could be all over... yep, Twentyone is tapping out! Submission win for McShatter.
