Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Rodriguez (ranked 307 p4p, 273 weight class) and Great Tiger (ranked 42 p4p, 41 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Great Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

Rodriguez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rodriguez looks to land a right hand but Tiger moved out of range.
Tiger uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rodriguez.
Tiger let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Tiger takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Great Tiger has been cut.
Rodriguez cracks Tiger with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fighters circling - Rodriguez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rodriguez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tiger.
Tiger looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Tiger takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It seemed like Tiger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rodriguez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tiger bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little jabbing left from Tiger on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rodriguez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tiger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rodriguez thuds a left hand into Tiger's body.

Rodriguez looks to land a right hand but Tiger moved out of range.
Tiger moves away from the strike by Rodriguez.
Tiger looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Tiger is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rodriguez throws a leg kick but Tiger moved away.

and Tiger counters with a stiff right hand.
Ryan Rodriguez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tiger tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rodriguez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tiger somewhat.
Rodriguez sends Tiger crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rodriguez is motioning to the referee to let Tiger up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Tiger is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tiger walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Tiger limp body while Rodriguez jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryan Rodriguez!
