And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 26 wins and 13 losses; Rodney Holzken!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and William Peck.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Deeds closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Holzken quickly recovers to half guard.

Holzken felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Holzken is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.

Well, if Deeds is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
