Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

A shot to the body from Zeus misses
and Vegas counters with a nice low kick that buckles Zeus's knee momentarily.
Zeus connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Vegas has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Davy Jones' Locker in the buildup to the fight.

and Vegas counters with a crisp one two that drops Zeus! Vegas thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Zeus to his feet! Zeus is in big trouble!

Zeus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vegas sprawls well. Vegas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zeus gets slowly back to his feet.

Zeus throws a lazy right hand but Vegas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

It looked like Vegas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Vegas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zeus manages to avoid it.
Zeus is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Vegas had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A less than humble Johnny Vegas misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
