PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Fortnite (ranked 2311 p4p, 3286 weight class) and Ross Barkley (ranked 253 p4p, 343 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Barkley feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fortnites jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Kyle Fortnite has been cut.

Fortnite goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Barkley is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Kyle Fortnite will probably get the nod.

Barkley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fortnite was well out of range. Poor timing from Barkley.

Fortnite changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barkley tries to avoid it but Fortnite manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barkley to the ground. Barkley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Barkley lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Fortnite quite badly. Fortnite pulls Barkley in close trying to recover. Barkley postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fortnite on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Fortnite doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
