Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anton Obuhov (ranked 449 p4p, 356 weight class) and Hendrik Vermeulen (ranked 61 p4p, 50 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Obuhov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vermeulen is fending him off so far but Obuhov persists. Nope, Vermeulen circles away and we're back to standing.

Vermeulen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Obuhov circles away quickly and effectively.
Obuhov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Vermeulen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Vermeulen drops Obuhov with a big left hand and mounts him. Obuhov is in big trouble!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vermeulen lands a couple of good shots and Obuhov has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Vermeulen lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Vermeulen connects with a couple of big shots that have Obuhov covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Obuhov! Vermeulen fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
